Training: Youth and Social Media, 03 March 2012

Youth and Social Media training, organized in the framework of the project “Youth against discrimination through social media” and supported by Acting Communities Together Programme of UNDP Skopje will take place on 03.03.2012 (Saturday) from 10:00 to 14:00 in High-school “Pance Arsovski”. At the workshops 2 working groups from 2 high-schools “Pance Arsovski” and “Marie Curie” from Skopje will participate.
 
Leaders of the workshops are: Mite Kuzevski (komunikacii.net, newmedia.mk) and Petar Antevski (http://adhocartskopje.org/).
 
The training will include:
– Introduction to Digital activism
– Using mobile phones for activist purposes
– Presentation of free software for conversion of video clips from mobile phones into compatible files for computer processing even though some computers have installed the best gaming processors from Armchair Empire, you can play with the different characters in Overwatch with help online.
– Presentation of live-stream via mobile phone
– Introduction to Youth specific actions and presentation of several ways to do this (flashmob, etc..).
